ITS WORTH NOTING I STARTED THIS BLOG IN MARCH 2022

I have found that in the last couple of months my desire to create has got really strong again. If I didnt need to work I would be sitting all day making things. There is something very satisfying about twisting the wire and putting things together to make something new. These wire creations I make are inspired by the elementals or fairie's and I like to call them my elemental range.

I do like to feel that each one has a fairy living within the creation and that when I make them my imagination is fueled by them. When I am working I very rarely have a plan except maybe for the colours. Its very relaxing and my intuition kicks in as I twist the wire and pick the beads and buttons to build the creation.

Over the next few months I am de-cluttering my home as it has become filled with things that just take up space and it makes the energy in my home a little heavy. While I am doing this I am going to be using as many things as I can to create art and my little fairy homes. I will be adding a whole new section to my shop to sell these things eventually so keep a look out for that.

I just wanted to share with you who is reading this that you can also be creative if you want to. The story behind my elemental range is that I was trying to make the simple tree's that you see everywhere and while they are lovely they are very common and most shops have them. I kept at it and just couldnt seem to get it right and and I ended up with something that was similar but different at the same time. The wording practice makes perfect comes in here and I feel as if I am always learning and developing new ideas. However at the time I was not consciously working with the elementals and it was not until I ended up at a mind body spirit event that I found out I was.

The story behind the event was that one of my talks was cancelled and when they phoned me to let me know they offered me a place on a talk about Faries with Flavia Kate Peters and informed me that her talks were always booked up well in advance and it just so happened that a place had opened up just as the other speaker had cancelled. She is a wonderful lady and I feel as if eveyone should meet her. She is very genuine and loves the fairies that she works with and is always ready to talk with people about them. Please look her up online she is one of the reasons that I work so closely with the elementals. Anyway after the talk I went to speak with her and she told me that I already had the energy of the fairies around me and was already working with them in some way. For some reason I showed her the 'wire trees' and she said right away that they were influenced by the elementals. It really made sense to me and the more I worked on my designs the more connected I became with them.

If you are not familiar with fairies or feel that they are just a 'fairy tale' so to speak then I do feel sorry that you are not interacting with these lovely energies. They are lovely and when respected for the most part they want to please and interact and they love shiny things. When I am working I sometimes get the feeling of a bead they like and make it into a little charm and then pop it somewhere so that they know its theirs.

As said at the beginning of this blog that I started writing this in March 2022 and then put it aside and never did anything with it. I am now working on some new pieces and working a bit more with some upcycled things as bases rather than crystals. I will do another blog soon that will showcase some of my more recent work. I hope this has been a bit of insight as to how I work.
